Rock Creek Forest Clean Up. April 25 9am-12pm

Friday, April 25, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Did you know that PCC Rock Creek is home to a hundred acre natural area filled with native plants? We also have a ~1 mile trail system that leads through the forest. Some introduced plants can have a negative effect on the local biodiversity, so we will spend our time together clearing the trails and removing invasive plants, such as blackberry, and shiny geranium. No experience needed, but please dress for working outdoors by wearing long pants, long sleeves, and closed toe shoes with good traction. Gloves, tools, and snacks will be provided! Please bring your own water.

We will meet in the lobby of Building 7, and then walk out to the forest together.

Each action you complete earns points and generates real-world impact. Your efforts, combined with those of your team, contribute to a significant collective difference.
