A milestone worth celebrating — and a community worth celebrating with.
Fifteen years of Future Connect is a remarkable milestone. And if the celebration made one thing clear, it’s that the heart of this program has always been its people.
Alumni, current and former coaches, PCC faculty and staff, community partners, elected leaders, and longtime and new supporters gathered to celebrate what Future Connect has made possible for thousands of students — and to look ahead to what comes next.
The evening was filled with familiar faces, new connections, and plenty of reminders of the relationships that have carried this program forward over the years.
At the center of the celebration was Future Connect alum Chris Molinar, who shared how the program helped him find his footing as a first-generation college student, discover his confidence, and ultimately find his path in architecture. Today, Chris is paying that support forward by mentoring young people interested in architecture through his work with OH Academy.

Chris’s journey is one example of the lasting impact of Future Connect — an impact that continues through careers, mentorship, families, and communities.

The Future Connect Program: Forging Paths to Success
Comprehensive Support: Future Connect is a scholarship and support program that combines financial aid with personalized advising, career guidance, and academic support.
Targeted Access: It’s designed for students who identify as first-generation or from families with limited income, aiming to remove systemic barriers to college success.
Long-Term Mentorship: Students receive sustained support throughout their entire time at PCC, not just at the start.
