Lynne Adams
Lynne Adams studied at the Massachusetts College of Art (Boston), Clark University (Worcester, MA) and the Vermont Studio School, where she was a student of Wolf Kahn, whose influence may be felt in the texture and subtle yellow/violet tones of her work. Adams is a regional artist in love with the landscape of the Massachusetts Pioneer Valley where she is represented by Nash Gallery (Easthampton), Renjeau Galleries (Natick and Concord), T. Benjamin Fiske Fine Art, (Milton), Arts Unlimited (South Hadley) and the Museum of Fine Arts Sales and Rental Gallery, (Springfield).
Lynne Adams writes: “My best work is when the paintings feel … as if nature had created the painting itself with very little assistance from me.”
