This life-size drawing in colored pencil on brown paper demonstrates an intense scrutiny of the human form through a delicate, warm glow of closely related, precisely limned, pencil marks. The drawing was exhibited in a figurative group show at the Laguna Art Museum in 1997. Green's more recent work has focused on the form of a single tree, intensely rendered, on a blank ground, or a solitary wandering figure in a desolate landscape with mysterious narrative implications.
