The Rock Creek Art Collection is enriched by the addition of works from students. Each year, we give out purchase awards to one student in the 25 Dollar Show, held in December, and to the juried Student Art Show, held in May during Art Beat week. This tiny still life, painted in Petra Sairanen's Painting I&II class when Kim was her student, was purchased from the annual juried student show in 2013.
