The mission of the Portland Community College Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is to support women and individuals with lived experiences of gender oppression by providing a welcoming and inclusive space. Through support, advocacy, and student-led programs, we help students navigate their academic and personal journeys with confidence. Our work fosters trust, safety, and connection, ensuring students have access to the resources, peer support, and community-building opportunities they need to thrive.

Available Positions:

WRC Student Advocate

Student Advocates at campus-based Women’s Resource Centers provide peer support, advocacy, and referrals for students while helping create a safer, more inclusive space. This role involves staffing the WRC, organizing feminist programming and events, promoting campus resources, and collaborating with student organizations to build community.
