Start Your Welding Career—Designed for Non-Native English Speakers, Immigrants, and Refugees

A group of IET Welding students and instructors wearing welding gear are standing outside the PCC Rock Creek Welding building with a sign that reads "WELDING".Three people are standing on a stage in front of a screen displaying "PCC Welding Integrated Education and Training Completion Celebration 2023-24." Balloons and a podium are seen in the background. An IET Welding student wearing safety glasses, a welding helmet pushed back on their head, and a protective welding jacket smiles while holding up a metal object with clamps in a workshop. They are pointing proudly at the object, which appears to be a recently completed piece of welding work. Behind them, there is a stool and various workshop equipment, including tools and welding gear. The setting suggests an industrial or educational environment focused on metalworking or welding.Daniel Mendez
