Course Description

Covers the components of engineered water systems including the application of construction, installation, and maintenance codes to water distribution systems. Prerequisites: CCET 120 and PHY 201 and MTH 111 or any MTH course for which MTH 111 is a prerequisite. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Identify components of engineered water systems.
  2. Use calculations to solve gravity flow and pressurized  water system problems.
  3. Apply applicable construction, installation, and maintenance codes to water distribution systems.
