Course Description
This AHA course addresses the core knowledge necessary to evaluate and manage an adult victim of a cardiovascular emergency or cardiac arrest according to current AHA guidelines. Pre-req: Basic ECG interpretation skills and ACLS pre-test.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Participants who successful complete this course will be able to:
1. Participate as active and contributing team member or leader in adult emergency cardiovascular care situations.
2. Recognize the indication for and apply appropriate and effective interventions that follow current AHA ACLS/ECC guidelines.
