Course Description

This workshop covers the basics of accounting and finance for those with little or no background. We will review transactions, how they are inserted into the accounting equation, how financial statements are created and financial statement analysis.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Identify your style and explore the priorities that drive you during your workday
Discover the similarities and differences among the DiSC styles
Discover your reactions to different DiSC styles
Identify what works for you and what challenges you when working with each style
Use the DiSC model to understand the people you manage and your manager
Practice using DiSC to build more effective relationships at work
Develop skills in recognizing people’s DiSC styles based on their behavioral cues
Identify common communication problems that may be holding you back
Develop skills to ask questions that give you information you need
Learn what your non-verbal messages are telling others
