Course Description
Coaching is based on partnerships that involve giving both support and challenging opportunities to employees. Knowing how and when to coach, and when to use other tools, like mentoring, is an essential skill that can benefit employees and organizations.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Understand what coaching is and what it is not.
Identify the critical coaching skills that help improve individual performance.
Demonstrate the behaviors and practices of an effective coach.
Recognize when to give up coaching an employee.
Effectively carry out the coaching conversation.
