Course Description

Creating a Trauma-Informed Workplace looks at challenges of trauma and self-sustainability. Included is an in-depth look at long lasting physical/mental manifestations of trauma & leading approaches to communication and accommodation. Increase communication in the workplace, employee/employer satisfaction, and expand vocabulary to express needs while maintaining confidentiality.

Intended Outcomes for the course

• Be familiar with trauma’s effect on a victim’s employability

• Recognize the importance of a child’s attachment with a caregiver

• Ascertain the different types of trauma and their significance in our lives

• Determine the significance of childhood traumas

• An in-depth look at employment challenges faced by trauma survivors
