Course Description
Learn the unique nutritional needs of infants, children, adolescents, older adults, pregnant women, and phyiscally active adults. Explore nutrition from the traditions of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Complete a capstone project.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Educate clients regarding their unique nutritional needs in different life stages.
2. Integrate Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine nutritional concepts in the recommendations for a client’s plan.
3. Perform a client intake and assessment.
4. Design and implement a bio-individually unique nutritional plan.
