Course Description
Learn the foundational terms and concepts, including ethics, science, attachment theories, and trauma, for the Interpersonal Neurobiology field.
Intended Outcomes for the course
- Articulate and apply the core tenets and constructs of Interpersonal Neurobiology;
- Identify, analyze and discuss ethical issues using an IPNB framework;
- Describe the mechanisms and connections among cortical and subcortical structures as they relate to stress, perception, memory, attention, empathy, regulation, and integration.
- Develop personal, professional, and spiritual practices that enhance awareness, and promote health, and well-being.
