Course Description

Gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of adolescent development and behavior. Uncover the secrets of the adolescent mind and gain valuable information on how they think and feel, how their identities develop and how you can best meet their needs.

Intended Outcomes for the course

1. Use the stages of adolescent development to create more effective lessons in any content area.

2. Create a classroom environment that supports the emotional and identity development of adolescent students.

3. Help students manage stress, anxiety and frustration in the classroom.
