Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to:

Discuss the expanded functions delegated to dental assistants with EFDA nad EFODA certifications.

Identify the rationale, materials needed, and procedural steps for coronal polishing.

Identify proper protocols and instruments used in amalgam and composite finishing and polishing.

Recognize the materials and procedural steps for fluoride application.

Identify proper protocols and instruments used in placement of retraction cord.
