Course Description

Focuses on mastery of Hatha Yoga instructional skills, building upon foundational knowledge and techniques. Explores advanced asana, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Instruct individuals and groups in advanced techniques of asana, pranayama and meditation.
  2. Develop and lead advanced routines in Hatha Yoga for a generally healthy adult population, including, but not limited to asana, pranayama and meditation.

  3. Apply knowledge and understanding of yoga philosophy and lifestyle to instruction.

  4. Utilize traditional yoga texts for application in yoga leadership.
