Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

1. Demonstrate independent implementation of an architectural drafting program.
2. Create a series of drawings that make up a drawing set for the implementation of an interior design remodeling project.
3. Create a site plan, demolition plan, construction plan, reflected ceiling plan and necessary interior elevations.

This goal of this course is to create a positive and professional environment in which students feel challenged and supported in creating a skill-based final project.

Create a written evaluation of a give design remodeling project.

Plan out the drawings that will be necessary to communicate the execution of the project "in real life"

Create the drawings listed above which will come together to make a complete drawing set for an interior remodel project.

Written response to course remodel project needs. An evaluation rubric will be used. Midterm eval of drawing development. Members of the advisory board will use an evaluation rubric to provide feedback to the student. Final drawing set. Industry partners who currently work with the interior design department chair to fulfill the annual Technical Skills Assessment will use this final project for the assessment of the program outcome.
