Course Description
Covers the purpose and function of vegetated private water quality facilities (VPWQF), inspections, and management. Includes the skills and knowledge required to be listed as a Preferred Maintenance Contractor on the Clean Water Services website.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Make management decisions that optimize the purpose and function of VPWQFs.
- Inspect VPWQFs for development of management protocols.
- Manage VPWQF in compliance with the regulations set forth by local municipalities and agencies.
- Educate clients on the status of their VPWQF and recommend management action.
- Use the required recordkeeping and inspection documents associated with the management of VPWQFs.
