Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students will be able to:

Apply knowledge of inventory flow and planning models to design processes that will produce the best production planning outcomes using Just-In-Time (JIT), Kanban and lean material requirement planning.

Apply knowledge of capacity planning and space utilization in a production facility to ensure timely production scheduling to meet customer demands.

Use an understanding of production data to create production plans or schedules, including production capacity requirements, material planning, and delivery schedules.

Apply knowledge of different lean material management concepts to implement the most efficient production planning.

Implement production plans or schedules to optimize production and reduce waste.
