Course Description

Provides instruction in basketball fundamentals, skills, and rules through drills and game play. Audit available.

Addendum to Course Description

Each student supplies their own clothing. Clothing should be loose and comfortable fitting for exercise. Shoes are mandatory and should be designed for basketball.
 

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of the course the students should be able to:

  • Demonstrate continued improvement of physical conditioning.
  • Develop skills for maintaining lifelong fitness.
  • Demonstrate skills to play basketball at beginning to intermediate level.
