Course Description
Provides instruction and opportunity to develop skills and knowledge above the basic level. Implements set plays and skills through drills and game play. Beginning basketball skills required. Audit available.
Addendum to Course Description
Each student supplies his/her own clothing. Clothing should be loose and comfortable fitting for exercise. Shoes are mandatory and should be designed for basketball.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course the students should be able to:

- Develop skills for maintaining lifelong health and fitness
- Develop skills to play basketball at beginning/intermediate level
