Course Description
Emphasizes continued development of skills necessary to participate in basketball at an advanced level through game play and drills. Beginning/Intermediate basketball skills required. Audit available.
Addendum to Course Description
Each student supplies his/her own clothing. Clothing should be loose and comfortable fitting for exercise. Shoes are mandatory and should be designed for basketball.

Upon completion of the course the students should be able to:

- Principles of offense and defense
- Strategy of the game
- Knowledge of rules by officiating
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Explain basketball officiating technique
- Perform warm up and cool down
