Course Description

Covers information relating to modern scuba diving science, equipment, responsible practices, and the environment. Provides an opportunity to practice scuba diving skills in a confined water environment. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon completion of this class the student should be able to:

  • Assemble scuba gear and clear a mask for future scuba diving participation.
  • Scuba dive comfortably in any confined water environment that allows scuba diving.
  • Be prepared to participate in a future open water scuba certification training.
