Course Description
This series takes professionals through concepts of cultural preferences and the significance of these prefaces in providing quality health care. The course examines the values of collectivism and individualism, time and how it is used, health and wellness definitions across cultures, choice and the individual’s right/ability to make healthcare choices. Cultural competency is a journey and not a destination.
