Course Description
Learn and practice specific cultural competency skills, discharge past hurts related to oppression and leadership to be more effective and self-aware, explore the dynamics of institutional and internalized oppression, be inspired, connected, and prepared to build relationships in our communities.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Participants will gain theoretical and experiential understanding of institutional oppression, learn about the dynamics of internalized oppression, achieve flexible, appropriate behavior in place of rigid, patterned behavior, and learn key communication skills.
