Course Description
Particpants examine the value inuderstandig and being able tospeak second language inthe workplace. Benfits nterms ofcustomer service and sales orientaion are briefly discused. Basic elments ofexcelnt customer service are tid togenral comunication skils.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Familiarization with beginner-level vocabulary. Emphasis is on greetings and using nonverbal communication to demonstrate positive intent and a willingness to help.
Develop individual Spanish language glossary of terms including department-specific terms
Practiced use of intermediate vocabulary and pronunciation.
Practiced use of specific customer service scenarios through role-play activities.
