Course Description
Covers basic pathology with emphasis on oral pathology and systemic disease of the oral tissues and oral environment. Integrates clinical features, histopathology, and treatment modalities. Prerequisites: DH 113.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to:
- Accurately describe oral lesions.
- Differentiate oral lesions including clinical and radiographic features, treatment, and prognosis.
- Integrate oral pathology findings into assessment and treatment planning processes.
- Analyze oral pathology cases and recommend appropriate interventions based on the unique characteristics of oral lesions presented.
