Course Description

Continues to build upon the foundational skills from Dental Radiography Lab I, practicing advanced radiographic techniques and technologies. Focuses on specialized methods, including both intraoral and extraoral imaging. Emphasizes patient safety and skills practice for patient radiographic procedures. Prerequisites: DH 109 and DH 109L. Corequisites: DH 210.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Practice extraoral imaging techniqes.
  2. Apply specialized imaging techniques.
  3. Explain advanced radiology imaging technologies.
  4. Interpret radiographic images.
  5. Prepare for live patient radiographic experiences.
