Addendum to Course Description
In addition, these F1 students require 12 credits at each level in order to advance to next level. The students will receive 9 credits in ESOL 103b and 3 credits in ESOL 130b.
Intended Outcomes for the course
IUpon completion of the course students should be able to:

Apply an intermediate-level understanding of U.S. culture in order to interact and function in the classroom and in the community.

Identify and analyze a wider variety of components of U.S. culture and compare and contrast with one's own culture.

Respond to level-appropriate written and spoken English with minimal errors

Apply an intermediate-level understanding of academic expectations learned in ESOL 130A in order to succeed in a U.S. classroom.
