Course Description
Introduces court positioning, different rotations and defense, and play at a faster tempo. Covers team concepts, refereeing, and score keeping. Prerequisites: High school varsity volleyball/club experience or instructor recommendation. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding of 6 vs 6 volleyball team concepts.
- Demonstrate knowledge of both the 5-1 and 6-2 offensive and defensive positions.
- Develop and demonstrate knowledge of all positions and how to rotate on the court.
- Play volleyball games at a faster tempo with consistency.
- Demonstrate basic up and down refereeing skills and how to be a lines person, score keeping and libero tracking.
