1-on-1 public speaking coaching

With sessions that are tailored to your specific goals, coaching is an excellent way to build and enhance your skills, increase confidence, and manage nervousness. You’ll learn and practice key techniques and receive motivating, supportive feedback. If you want to succeed, you must intrigue! With one-on-one training, your gifts will shine!

Program details

  • Review the instructor bio and schedules to select and register for a package.
  • Sessions last 45 minutes. Expect additional materials costs. Use sessions within the term; no refunds for unused sessions. Individual sessions must be canceled with your instructor 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the session is counted against your package total. You must be registered before participating in a session.

Refund and drop policy

If you want to drop, you must do so online in MyPCC within six calendar days after the start of the term. No drops or refunds on partially used coaching packages. Learn more about dropping a class.

Instructor profiles and availability

Joseph Britton

Joseph’s experience is vast as both a professor and an author in the subject of public speaking. At Princeton University, Joseph was an instructor in mindfulness studies and a trainer in leadership. He was also a professor of Public Speaking at Osaka Metropolitan University in Japan. In Tokyo, he directed Japan’s first international executive speech training company. Joseph is now currently a speech coach using mindfulness and is excited to work with students to improve their skills.

Sue Wendel

Sue will work with you to set goals with each session tailored to meet your needs. Sue enjoys helping students sharpen their presentation and public speaking skills, bringing years of experience coaching individuals, educators and business speakers. Sue attained the highest ranking in Toastmasters International, and holds a Masters in Communication from Portland State University.
