Continues the development of the students swimming and water safety skills. New strokes introduced include the breaststroke, sidestroke, and elementary backstroke. Deepwater skills are also developed. Prerequisite: PE 180A or instructor permission.

Course Description: Introduces proper stroke form, efficiency and endurance in freestyle, backstroke and elementary backstroke. Covers basic diving techniques. Recommended: beginning swim course or ability to swim 10 yards.
