Designed to meet NFPA Standard 1041 Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I. Students will organize classroom, laboratory and outdoor learning environments and present prepared lessons utilizing recognized methods of instruction. Learn to adjust and modify presentations based on student learning styles and changing classroom environments and learn about course objectives and learning outcomes.

148. RD115 COLLEGE READING OREGON TRANSFER DEGREE LIST B DESIGNATION REQUEST
RECOMMENDED as a Lower Division Collegiate course but not recommended with the AAOT list B designation. The consensus of the committee was that this course would be appropriate as an elective course, but if applied to the Arts and Humanities distribution area would alter the intention of Arts and Humanities requirements. This was agreeable with the DE SAC present at the meeting.
149. MT100 BASIC ELECTRONICS NEW COURSE
2 lec, 3 lab, 3 cr
Includes Ohms Law, Kirchhoff’s Voltage and Current Law in series and parallel circuits, and troubleshooting problems of basic electric circuits. Labs include basic measurement and troubleshooting techniques, use of electronic test equipment and proper documentation procedures. Proposed Prerequisite/Concurrent registration: MTH 60; WR 115.

Covers safety consideration for working in a semiconductor industry cleanroom. Introduces safety programs in the industry. Overviews available hazard information and how to obtain it. Covers personal safety and related equipment.
