Podcast Collective, and mostly deal with the technical side of production! From audio mixing and mastering, to graphics and back-end systems, I’m the queen of computery things!

My journey at PCC includes a degree in Immersive Media and Creative Coding from the Multimedia department, as well as having graduated from the Gateway to College program (plus a stop at Columbia College Chicago along the way!)

My interests include audio, programming, heavy metal, social justice, theoretical physics, abstract construction of algorithms, American Football, and drinking a healthy amount of water!

She wears a light blue blouse with white daisies of different sizes all over the blouse and a dark blue jean jacket with black plant embellishments on the chest.Hi! My name is Asher! I’m a co-lead producer with the “Let’s Talk! Podcast Collective”, and have been dealing with pre-production work and editing podcasts! From planning out coverage on special events in Portland, to making sure our team has the information we need before we hit the ground running. It’s never a dull moment when brainstorming about the next great episode!

I started with PCC as a Multimedia Student and became an Intern for the Collective in my final year of college, before graduation. Even with about 5 years of experience, in the classroom and out of it, in film pre-production and editing; I’m eager and excited to learn new skills everyday while on the job!

My interests include video gaming, knitting, creating animations & art work, exploring locations for foodies in The City of Roses, and being behind a camera.

Autism podcast, and am one of the co-lead producers of the Let’s Talk! Podcast Collective of Portland Community College, and am primarily responsible for producing the KBOO Live Shows and other KBOO-related activities. I am actually one of the original collective members and am happy that the podcasts and the rest of our content have reached so many people. I will be leaving Let’s Talk! Podcast Collective soon to pursue veterinary medicine in England, but I know that Let’s Talk! is in good hands with my co-leads Asher and Miri and the constant support from Phyllis in AEDR. I don’t know if I will continue to do podcasts after vet school but thanks to the collective, I have the skills to do so!

A half half body profile photo of podcast tech Cherranne, a blind woman with medium skin tone and short dark curly hair, wearing a zip up hoodie and smiling at the camera. My name is Cherranne Verduin; on the air, I go by Anne Verduin. I am a Podcast Tech for the Let’s Talk! Podcast Collective. That’s my official title, and I do hope to one day help record podcasts, specifically about technology. I love tech, especially if it makes life easier for a blind person, which I am. I have been totally blind all my life. For now, I seem to have found a niche in taking the lead on writing web articles for podcasts that have already been recorded. I have lived in Portland for twenty years, and worked for PCC in some capacity since August of 2023.
