Dexterity concerns
If a student experiences functional limitations that impact the ability to handle lab equipment, complete in-class writing assignments, or participate fully in other classroom activities, it may be appropriate for PCC to provide a classroom aide. Students should speak to their counselor to learn more.
The role of the personal care attendant
There are times when students require assistance with tasks of daily living. For example, a student may need help with feeding or hygiene needs, or handling other personal tasks. Students should speak with their counselor to ensure notifications are in place when appropriate.
