Program Description
Compare urban and rural community health issues and programs while visiting health clinics and meeting with practitioners.
Program Highlights
- Attend an Acupuncture and Eastern therapy session to learn forms and technique of Eastern therapy from a professional, licensed practitioner
- Visit a Nursing facility for the elderly to learn more about how Japanese care for their aging patients (If COVID protocols allow)
- Based in Kyoto, visiting the Kyoto National Museum and the Kyoto City Sports Center for people with disabilities
- Excursions to Hiroshima and Osaka
- Accommodations include both hotel and homestays (no Japanese language required)
