Radiation Safety
Portland Community College was issued a radioactive materials license from the Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division, and Radiation Protective Services to use radioactive sources subject to licensing. As of October, 2018, PCC no longer use/maintain radioactive materials requiring a license. The Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) administers the Radiation Safety Program and oversees the safe use of radioactive sources in the PCC District. If you would like additional information on the College’s radiation safety program, please contact the Assistant RSO Jacob Reams at 971-722-4177.
