For this self portrait assignment, I thought about the level of vanity that must be present to put so much work into an aesthetically pleasing version of oneself. In order to push this theme, I took a picture of myself, made a drawing of the picture of myself, then edited the drawing of the picture of myself. This process of going from physical to digital to physical to digital, comments on my desire to present the most polished version of myself.
