"My drawing “See Me” is based on the concept of quilts. Quilts carry a message, tell a story and represent life. Blows open the doors to the past, unravels memories, brings recognition to what was. Quilts send a message from the maker to the receiver. I see you. This is how I see you. This is what I remember. And a quilt is courage telling the world, here I am. See my story, feel my story. The materials were a sumi ink wash, ink pencils on Bristol vellum paper. "
