For this project, we were assigned to make a surrealism piece. This particular drawing was born from a rehashed sketch I made way back in April 2020, right when the quarantine started. My senior year of high school had been cut short and I felt lonely being distanced from my friends. I knew how lucky my family was but I was still anxious about everything happening. I wanted to cut open my head and pick out all the bad parts (which makes for a great surrealism concept!)
