The Oregon Coast is captured here using only blue, black and white acrylic paint. The painting captures motion through water surrounding and topping the rocks on the beach, a waterfall on the cliff, and swirling clouds in the sky. It’s based on a photo I took in February of 2019 of Arch Cape in Oswald West State Park. The challenge here was creating art using a monochromatic palette.
