This painting is an illusion painting where i create the illusion of shadows and lighting to bring a life-like appeal to the form. Using acrylic paint colors I am able to add dimension to a flat surface with attention to the refraction of light in a glass cup. I focused on using and blending monotone colors so that the orange would stand out overall.
