This painting was practice in the mosaic mode where I preserved my raw brushstrokes and overlapped them at times to create my shading. Using this technique with the acrylic paints I am able to make it so that the many brushstrokes come together to create a whole image. My main practice was on placement of quick brushstrokes so that I can create a overall obvious picture while still leaving parts separated.
