This historical type painting is meant to capture the first Pride march in the 70’s. It uses various figures taken from old photographs and pieces them together to create a unified group of people. The colors are chosen to evoke feelings of love, strength, and determination. There are more abstract and geometric shapes to the left to create contrast and bring attention to the flag.
