Tony Kane | “Gnome Man’s Land”
This media file is attached to: Painting / Watercolor
Gnome Man’s Land was painted as an exercise of creative study. A take-off on Bob Pepper’s Island of the Mighty, I made each element my own, within the loose confines of composition and palette. I rendered the painting in acrylic paint with the goal of both capturing qualities of watercolor, and integrating these into my acrylic painting style. The title is a homonym, mimicking the creative parody in the painting itself.
