This photo is a self portrait of me in my wedding dress. I use soft lighting and pink tones which play off the idea that femininity is supposed to be gentle and soft. In this photo, I explore and question the expectations we put on girls and women. I fight back against the idea that females should be modest and demure and deny themselves pleasures for the sake of other peoples comfort.
