This drawing was an assignment for the use of lines where I chose to use a crosshatching type method. I used black pen and prismacolor markers to draw a still life that I had created using hand sanitizer, coffee, and a pill bottle with Adderall in the cap. I titled it "Getting Through It" because life is a lot right now, and sometimes we just need that little bit of help to get us through the days.

Magazine cut outs of flowers, a hummingbird, a woman watering her outdoor toilet garden, a bumblebee, picture frame corners, and lettering above in various fonts and colors reading, "It Doesn't Fucking Matter". Hand drawn lines and dots bring the pieces together.
