This oil painting was made for the class project Atmospheric Perspective. For this paining we tried to capture the depth through the use of color. I first mapped out the general idea of what I wanted, then added layers of different colors in the attempt to add depth and detail. At first I was trying to make it very realistic but then I let myself have fun making the mountains with loose movements. Making it in my opinion fun and expressive.
