I made this painting to capture the feeling of self-confidence. The reason why this figure is alone in an almost blank space is to present a peacefulness between body and mind. I used dripping, scrapping, and the acrylic pen as a metaphor towards this figures emotions. The scrapping for negative emotions, the pen work for emotions being worn, and the dripping as positive emotions.
